Around 3:30 this afternoon a single engine Cessna plane crashed into the main stable at the Haunted Hearts Horse Farm. Most of the horses were out in the pasture or being exercised, and the few that were still in the stable, were rescued with minimal damage.
The pilot and 3 passengers rumored to be in the plane have not been found, despite very little fire damage. The owner of the horse farm is planning on suing the owner of the plane, and/or pilot, or the estates of both should one or more be found dead, for negligence.
No one at the horse farm recalls seeing anyone in the plane, though the finding of the parachutes indicates that they didn’t jump. At least not with the emergency chutes.
